Summary
Project managers and project management practitioners could use software such as Excel and its newly 2007 Ribbon design. This course series explains how to use advanced functions of this software.
The course “Excel 2007 Advanced ” allows students to claim 12 PDUs once they have completed their study. The course includes 5 Course Modules as delineated below.
Course Module 1: Filtering and Sorting Data
Duration: 2 hours
Learning Objective: Learn how to filter data in worksheets and also to apply sort to data (multiple-level and custom).
Course Module 2: Using Pivot Tables
Duration: 2 hours
Learning Objective: Learn how to create and use pivot table to analyze data.
Course Module 3: Working with Functions
Duration: 3 hours
Learning Objective: Learn how to use Excel functions (math, date and time, logic, statistic, financial).
Course Module 4: Using Data Analysis Tools
Duration: 1 hour
Learning Objective: Learn how Excel can analyze data with What-if, Scenario Manager and Goal Seek. Introduction to data analysis.
Course Module 5: Automating with VBA Macros
Duration: 2 hours
Learning Objective: Learn how to record and run macros and also to customize and combine them. Introduction to the use of VBA Macros.
Course Module 6: Adding Connections and Importing Data
Duration: 2 hours
Learning Objective: Learn how connect workbooks and worksheets for sharing and updating and also how to import external data from different formats such as web, text, xml, Access.... |
