Project managers and project management practitioners will learn how to make things happen with persuasion, influence, information, communication with other people.
The course “Communicating with Power” allows students to claim 09 PDUs once they have completed their study. The course includes 6 Course Modules as delineated below.
Course Module 1: Elements of Powerful Communication
Duration: 1 hour
Learning Objective: Learn how to identify the three basic communication elements (communicator - audience- subject) and use them with your portraited audience.
Course Module 2: Persuasive Appeals
Duration: 1 hour
Learning Objective: Learn how to use emotion, characters, logical appeal to build a persuasive communication.
Course Module 3: Modes of Persuasion
Duration: 1 hour
Learning Objective: Learn how to use the two modes of persuasion: face-to-face or written communication and to identify key elements of each of them.
Course Module 4: Active Listening
Duration: 2 hours
Learning Objective: Learn how to listen effectively with active listening exchanges and also identify the physical and personal filters that impair listening.
Course Module 5: Resolving Conflict
Duration: 2 hours
Learning Objective: Learn how to respond to workplace conflict (internal or external), create guidelines to resolve a conflict and integrate conflict resolution process into the culture of organizations.
Course Module 6: Negotiation
Duration: 2 hours
